The Big Day Out on February 1st
A fantastic but rather wet and windy march in Grasmere. Many hundreds of people attended 'The Big Day Out' protest march in Grasmere despite the rain in celebration of the withdrawal of a proposal to put holiday boats on Grasmere and as a show of force calling for an end to other inappropriate developments in the Lake District National Park.... including gondolas!
